Linda Brunell

LINDA BRUNELL has been an active member of Likud and Likud Anglos since its founding in 2007 and was a key part of Likud Anglos' reestablishment in 2010. She is studying for her bachelor’s degree in Judaic Studies at Na’aleh College and completed three years of business administration at the Commercial College of Gamlakarleby, Finland. Linda made Aliyah from Finland in 1996. She is now a resident of Jerusalem. During her childhood, Linda lived in Brisbane, Australia, for five years and therefore strongly identifies as part of the English-speaking community in Israel. She speaks fluent English, Swedish, Finish and Hebrew.

Linda believes that the creation and maintenance of Jewish communities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza are the realization of Zionist values, a clear expression of the unassailable right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel, and a vital asset in the defense of the State of Israel. She desires to see Israel move away from the concessionary approach to foreign policy.

Linda currently works as a patent paralegal. She has detailed some of her experiences and views in an article for the Hadar organization entitled, “From Finland to Falafels.”
